COACHES STATEMENT
So first home game of the season, and after the loss at Sheffield and the cancelled Swindon game the girls were fired up. We went out and played fluent hockey in the first, racking some goals and making smooth work of our plays.
Second period found us a little sloppy but keeping our heads above water. Movement with the puck stayed fluent and left Lucy Jarvis leaving the ice with a shut out.
The third brought some excitement, we stepped up but with some mis-organisation resulted in a cold goalie slipping a goal. But Keira Waddington stayed zoned in and made solid saves throughout.
Bracknell didn't take to our solid play and tried to turn our pretty game ugly which resulted in some penalties and power plays. We managed to use this and advance our lead. Solid home game win for the girls and on to the next.
