COACHES STATEMENT
First big home game for the girls and we came out all guns blazing. After some good training sessions since last game, everyone was hopeful for a big result. Peterborough didn't look too great in the warm up but came alive from first puck drop. Our work rate was high and the energy flowed. But unfortunately from some off positions, their goals came. They opened up our centre lane and we started to concede. The defence worked hard throughout and the puck was worked away but was turned over quickly. A few poor calls found us take some power kill. All in all a better game, an improvement on last game with some areas to work on. Girls did us proud.
