COACHES STATEMENT
Slough Sirens arrived ready for action at our home barn, but with a positive team in the changing room before we even walked out, their story wouldn't be too great to tell.
From the off the ladies were fluent and fired up! Passing and moving like a beautiful fireworks display! The goals came thick and fast and it was a great start for our last home game of February.
The first period saw a solid flurry of advancement and goals, Easton picking up a hatty before the start of the second. Our play stayed steady throughout with a few times getting sloppy through the middle and opening the door for the sirens to pick holes, but we kept to our game and saw some lovely set ups in their defensive zone.
The odd penalty was conceded by both teams but we were well worked and pulled goals in even within a penalty kill. The ladies really showed we are still in the running and getting back to our team play for the next up coming game. Bring it on!!!
