A big thank you to everyone who came along on Sunday and supported the Chelmsford Pythons as we hosted the Invicta Dynamics in our 3rd game of the season.
After last weekend's great performance, we were looking to take advantage of the positive momentum and wanted to start the game with the same passion and energy, and the ladies did not disappoint. We scored our 1st goal in 47 seconds and finished the 1st period 5 - 0 up with goals from #27, 2x#64, #48, and #47.
In the 2nd period, we really got into the game, and the ladies began moving the puck around with confidence and mastery, really showcasing their tactical ability. Goals coming from #49, #64, and #38.
In the 3rd period we continued our offensive campaign and played most of the period in the opposition's zone, scoring a further 4 goals, coming from #38, #64, #75 and #49.
The ladies really impressed, not only with their ability, but with points coming from defenders, as well as forwards, and across all 3 lines played.
Their performance also reflected in the shots on goal, where the Invicta Dynamics nettie faced 55 shots, and our number #77 Lillith Wright faced 5 shots.
Fantastic result ladies, a well-deserved win, you're going from strength to strength 💪.
P.O.G - #64 Kristiina Powell
Hardest worker - #66 Kiara Thomas-Lambert.
This was our last game in 2024. Our next game will be at home on 5th January 2025.
With that said, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
